    najpïtomo =jne najpï -∅ -tomo =jne grandfather-pert-pl=pl
    sënka -∅ finish-acnnmlz
    wara wara thus
    emp
    ‘My grandfathers, the women disappeared.’ ()
  1. tipapëjse =jne tipa -pëj -se =jne go_in_group-plur-pst=pl
    waijta =jne waijta =jne mouse=pl
    ‘The mice went away.’ (Cuento de las ratas por AnFo : 40)

There is also the particle kontomo, which marks plurality of the possessor . Etymologically, it consists of an earlier *komo suffixed with -tomo.

  1. ‘their path’ ()

In many nouns, old plural markers have become lexicalized, like in wiriyamo or waraijtokomo, which show former *-yamë and *komo.
